1. Definitions

1.1 The 'Client' means the person purchasing the service/product and must be above 16 years of age.

1.2 The 'Provider' means Rachel Lawrence Pilates which is the trading name for RL Pilates Ltd. Company registration number 9831350 and company registered address is First Floor, 126-128 Uxbridge Road, London W13 8QS.

1.3 The ‘Service(s)’ means any service/product selected by the client.

 

2. Acknowledgement and Acceptance of Terms of Use

2.1 The Service(s) are offered to the Client conditional on their acceptance of the terms and conditions contained here without modification. 

2.2 Any and all information is subject to change without notice. Publications are subject to availability and their provision is at the discretion of Rachel Lawrence Pilates.

2.3 You agree that Rachel Lawrence Pilates will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the information and material contained in this website or from access to other material on the Internet via url’s from this site. 

2.4 These pages are protected by copyright. No information in this website may be modified, copied, distributed, transmitted, displayed, reproduced, published, licensed, used to create derivative works from, transferred or sold in any form. 

2.5 This website is for personal and non-commercial use for you to access and download the content and store a copy on a temporary basis for your personal use only.

 

3. Services

3.1 All clients are required to register by creating a Rachel Lawrence Pilates client account and complete health questions before attending Pilates or Ballet classes. www.rachellawrencepilates.com

 

4. Private classes

4.1 Once purchased the Services may only be used by the Client and are not transferable to third parties.

4.2 24 hours cancellation policy applies for the Private Studio and Private Matwork sessions. This can be done by phone, online booking facility, by email and subject to availability.

4.3 If you 'no show' consistently by not attending and fail to inform us of this in advance, we reserve the right to block your online booking facility and your remaining booked classes will be released back for other clients to book. You will then need to book in by email or by phoning us.

4.4 A booked class for which 24hr cancellation notice was not given will be forfeited and is non refundable

4.5 Please note you are able to early cancel twice, however we do not accept misuse of our booking system as it does not give optimum availability for all our clients.

5. Group Classes

5.1 Classes take place online. The provider reserves the right to change class timings/schedules subject to availability. An up to date timetable is available on the website.  Services may only be used by the Client and are not transferable to third parties. We cannot offer substitute classes or make-ups if you miss your class.

5.2 Drop-in:

A drop in service is available for clients that would like to pay as they go for group classes. The drop in rate is listed on the website. To ensure confirmed attendance, Rachel Lawrence Pilates can only guarantee availability of services booked online in advance. Booking is available up to thirty minutes before class begins. A drop in once purchased is valid for that particular term. No exchanges or refunds can be given.

 

6. Term Flexi Pass

6.1 Flexi-passes are non-refundable.

6.2 Valid for any 5 or 10 group classes of your choice. Only Valid for 90 and 120 days respectively. Cancellations can be made online up to 24 hours in advance, and bookings can be made on the day of the class, subject to availability.

6.3 A booked class for which 24hr cancellation notice was not given will be forfeited and is non refundable. 

6.4 To ensure and confirm attendance, Rachel Lawrence Pilates can only guarantee availability of services booked online in advance.

6.5 Clients receive email confirmation of bookings unless they have specifically opted out of receiving emails. If they have opted out, it is the client’s duty to monitor their schedule online in their client area.

 

7. Private Sessions:

7.1 All private Pilates sessions are bookable and payable in advance

7.2 24 hours notice is required for cancellation of any private session

7.3 Any session for which 24hr cancellation notice was not given will be forfeited and is non refundable

 

8. Payment and Refunds

8.1 Purchase of all classes and workshops are payable in advance and are non-refundable.

8.2 Payments are accepted via credit or debit card and cash for class bookings and block class bookings. Credit or debit cards can only be accepted if bookings are made online.

 

9. Minimum Age

9.1 Minimum age to attend classes is 16 years old, if parental written permission is provided for those under 18.

9.2 Exceptions, such as holiday classes, where younger children can attend if accompanied by a parent, may be available, and will be specified on the website and in the e-newsletter.

Rachel Lawrence Pilates accepts no responsibility for any client who does not follow the instructed class or has not disclosed any medical conditions or recent injuries. If you have not already, please kindly complete the health questions when you create your account OR once account is created click on 'My info' tab and then click 'edit' in the personal section and complete questions there. It is your responsibility to complete the health questions irrespective of this liability release so please take a few moments to do so. Please do be aware that it is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you feel unwell or any discomfort at any point. You accept that there is risk associated with all forms of exercise either during or after. You take full responsibility for your own health. You will not hold Rachel Lawrence Pilates or associated staff, liable for any injury, loss or expense suffered as result of your participation in any class or session. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or in any way seek to limit Rachel Lawrence Pilates liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by any negligence, or any other liability to the extent such liability may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law. Rachel Lawrence Pilates reserve the right to refuse admission/membership.

You may have heard about the new General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR') that came into effect on 25th May 2018. By signing up (or asking us to sign you up) you have ‘unambiguously’ given us your permission to receive our e-mail Newsletter.  If at any time you no longer wish to receive marketing or promotional information from Rachel Lawrence Pilates you may ‘unsubscribe’ via the ‘unsubscribe’ button. 

You have the right to access any of the personal data that we hold for you on our client data base free of charge, at any time upon a simple request. Under EU ‘right to be forgotten’ legislation you may also request us to delete any details on record obtained via your opt-in / subscription by contacting us at rachellawrencepilates@gmail.com.
