WAYS TO WORKOUT WITH ME - PLAYLISTS

Below you will find my YouTube playlists organised into logical steps for you to follow.

If you are brand new to Pilates, the best place to start is my Pilates Foundation Course

If you are already practising Pilates, why not hop straight onto the 30 day Challenge Programme.

If you’ve got a lot of Pilates experience, then choose Mixed Ability or the more athletic Intermediate Course.

If you simply want a workout that will fit in with the time you have available, then you can choose between the 10- 20 minute playlist and the 25-40 minute playlist.

Alternatively, you may be looking for Pilates exercises to help you for a specific reason - you want senior-focused training, you need rehabilitation exercises for an injury, or Pilates sessions to help you manage an ongoing medical condition. These are under Specialist Courses below.

BEGINNER PILATES

Welcome to the World of Pilates

If you are new to Pilates, the best place to begin is with my Beginner Pilates Programme. These sessions introduce the foundations of Pilates, including posture, breathing and simple movements that will help you build strength, balance and confidence. It is a gentle way to start your Pilates journey and gives you the time to learn at your own pace. Beginning here will give you the confidence to move on to more varied classes when you are ready.

MOVING ON IN YOUR PRACTICE

Having taken on the challenges, you’re now ready to mix it up. I recommend working your way through the Mixed Ability playlist which moves between experienced beginner and intermediate pilates. Ideal if you like to vary your workout level. If you are injury free and confident in your movement then why not take on the Intermediate playlist. Ideal for experienced Pilates practitioners who want to work hard, enjoy athletic challenges and are looking for that deeper level of intensity in their movement practice.

Mixed Ability Playlist

Are you an inbetweener?!

You may be an experienced beginner, happy to work a little harder but not at the more athletic intermediate stage. In that case, this is the perfect place for you.

Here you will find a whole variety of workouts of different levels that will sometimes challenge you, sometimes allow you the time to delve deeper into your practice and most of all show you the wonderful world of pilates and wellbeing. I hope you enjoy them doing them as much as I enjoyed making them for you.

Intermediate Pilates

Want something a little more challenging? Are you confident in your technique?

Then these workouts will push you further and are designed for those with at least a year of pilates experience.

They are a mix of traditional pilates matwork at a more athletic level, endurance based pilates, strength training, inversions and challenging spinal and core stability work. They are not related to age but simply to your own strength, ability and pilates experience.

10 - 20 Minute Workouts

This is a collection of short workouts ranging from 10-20 minutes for when you want to get an effective workout in a condensed amount of time.

A great way to get some movement practice in everyday and ideal if you're fit and able and just want to do a quick workout.

There's lots of variety in these sessions so a great playlist for those who like to mix things up.

Please note they also include some sessions that were taught live and include the live chat after class so they may look longer but rest assured the exercise portion of the workout is always 20 minutes or under. If you have the time you can always leave the session running to listen to the chat!

25 - 40 Minute Workouts

This varied collection of workouts is for those days when your lifestyle allows you more time to take care of yourself and you have the mental capacity to really focus on spending quality time working on your wellbeing.

I recommend you incorporate at least two of these longer sessions in your weekly routine.

Please note the playlist also includes some of my livestream sessions where I jump on the chat after class so they may look longer but rest assured the exercise portion of the workout is always 25-40 minutes. If you have the time you can always leave the session running to listen to the chat!

Test Your Pilates Personality

7 Day Pilates Playlist for Seniors

What's Your Pilates Personality?

Find out what your body needs and how best to enjoy your Pilates practice with this 7 day self-assessment playlist.

When you have completed all 7 of the sessions you will have a clear idea of what the best way to exercise is for you, what your body actually needs and how best to fulfil that need through your regular Pilates practice.

In this Playlist I have created a mix of sessions and gentle challenges to help you understand what your level of Pilates fitness is and what you may need help with. It's a self assessment tool to test your balance, lower and upper body strength, coordination, core strength, mobility and flexibility.

You can take this as a 7 day Challenge or make it your weekly schedule to help you get the best out of your fitness and wellbeing.

These sessions will keep you strong, improve your balance, muscle tone, mobility, flexibility, co-ordination and help manage those little niggles that come with reaching this wonderful phase of your life. Enjoy all that your amazing body can do because you deserve it.

Pilates for Seniors and Gentle Beginners

Seniors

These Pilates sessions are designed for older active clients, people with joint or mobility issues and those who would simply like a slower pace and a less pressured session.

Easy, yet effective and beneficial movement.

Take your time, enjoy the movement and do what feels good. Pilates is as much about the mind as well as the body so allow yourself the time to explore and enjoy the movements.

This playlist also contains sessions for common issues relating to the ageing process.

Standing Workouts Only

This playlist is all standing workouts that range from Pilates, functional movement, stretches and flexibility work to ballet inspired barre classes created from my many years training as a dancer.

They are excellent for strengthening the legs, glutes, back and core and perfect if you prefer to do all your workouts standing.

I would, however recommend combining these sessions with mat routines as the mix of the two is an ideal way to maintain all round fitness, strength, mobility and flexibility.
