🎄 Homemade Christmas Chocolate Truffles

I wanted to share a little festive favourite with you this week—my homemade Christmas chocolate truffles 🎄They’re rich, chocolatey, incredibly easy to make, and perfect for gifting, sharing, or keeping all to yourself (no judgement here!). This is one of those recipes that makes your kitchen smell like Christmas and your fridge feel extra exciting every time you open it. I really hope you love them as much as I do. If you are gifting, make them just before you gift them to keep them nice and fresh.

Makes: 16 truffles | Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 100 g cashew nuts, soaked in filtered water overnight and rinsed

  • 100 g coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp agave nectar

  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 100 g ground almonds

  • Desiccated coconut & cocoa powder for decorating

Method

  1. Add everything except the ground almonds to a food processor. Blend until you have a smooth, sticky chocolate mixture.

  2. Transfer to a bowl, add the ground almonds, and gently mix until fully combined.

  3. Set out two saucers—one with desiccated coconut and one with cocoa powder.

  4. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of mixture at a time and, with clean slightly damp hands, roll into small balls.

  5. Roll each truffle in your chosen coating and place in a large container.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

✨ Store in the fridge and enjoy whenever a little festive chocolate craving hits!

Or alternatively, pop four into a festive little Christmas box and gift to friends and family. They will keep in the fridge for one week.
