Here's an excerpt from the Livestream chat that follows my Live Classes on Mondays and Fridays on YouTube. I always teach the class first, then after the exercise portion is finished I stay online to talk to Subscribers. One of the benefits of being a Subscriber to my Channel is you can hop onto the chat and ask me a question about your practice, chat to other people who are part of the community and, as a group we can discuss anything health and fitness related. The Live sessions have people from all over the world working out together at the same time, and I know this is a huge benefit of being in our online community. That sense of togetherness despite the distance, the realisation that we are all just trying to stay as healthy as possible and that we all have challenges in our lives which we live with.
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in long-term goals and the pressures of achieving them. However, the true essence of fitness lies in enjoying each workout for what it is. Appreciate the progress you make, no matter how small, and allow it to motivate you for tomorrow. By shifting your focus from long-term goals to the enjoyment of each workout, you can cultivate a fulfilling and joyful fitness journey. Remember, the goal is to enjoy each day and nurture your well-being in the process.
The YouTube short above was in answer to the question 'Hi Rachel and Pilates enthusiasts! If you want to get really fit, is this an advisable workout to do everyday?' Click the play button to hear my answer!
Remember, it's consistency that matters most and you doing what feels right for you. So choose your workouts according to what makes you feel good in mind and body.
